Read and retrieve your institution's data handling acknowledgment — the same document you accepted when you first accessed CeliaConnect.

What it is

When you first accessed CeliaConnect, a data handling acknowledgment gate required a one-time acceptance before you could proceed. This page is the permanent, retrievable copy of that same document. Use it to re-read what your institution agreed to, share a copy with legal or IT, or print it for your records.

This page is read-only. Acceptance only happens at the gate; there is no way to re-accept or re-reject here. If the document version has been updated and a new acceptance is required, the gate appears automatically the next time you log in — not from this page.

What you can do here

  • See your acceptance status — whether you have accepted the current version (green check) or a new version is pending your acceptance (amber callout with a link back to the gate).
  • Read the full document — the same text you accepted at the gate.
  • Print or email yourself a copy — for your compliance records.

Common workflows

Provide a copy to your institution's legal office

  1. Open Settings → Data Handling Acknowledgment.
  2. Use the browser's Print function (or the Print button) to produce a PDF.
  3. Pair with the Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy for a complete data-handling disclosure package.

Common gotchas

Status shows "acceptance overdue"

A new version of the acknowledgment has been published since you last accepted. The acceptance gate will appear on your next login — follow the prompts to accept the updated version and continue.
